On his 50th birthday, Robert Jasper makes a special present - an expedition all to himself.
The alpinist and mountain guide is a minimalist who masters the situation on the mountain calmly and with concentration. Sea kayak leaves Kulusuk on the east coast to set up base camp at the base of the Molar Spire after twelve days of paddling and towing.
Solo he climbs into a nearly 500 meter high rock face. The burden of loneliness is added to the climbing difficulties and the enormous effort. Robert Jasper has to go beyond his limits.
